ARCAF – the Association of Russian-speaking Craftspeople, Artists, and Fashion Designers (www.arcaf.ca) is an organization dedicated to promote Russian-speaking artists, designers, craftsmen and musicians of various backgrounds and cultural traditions. This year ARCAF is organizing a Multicultural Festival and Fair called “Richmond Hill Art Sputnik 2015” on Sep 19-20, 2015 in co-operation with Richmond Hill municipality.

Celebrating its fifth year a two-day Multicultural Art, Music, Fashion Festival and Fair will showcase works by famous contemporary artists and craftspeople, a variety of music genres from folk to jazz, new fashion designers and trends. Plus, art & craft classes, activities and special events for children!

With the spotlight on Arts, this vibrant annual festival brings together different businesses supporting artists and craftspeople. More than 80 exhibitors are expected to participate. This multicultural event annually brings together various businesses and over 5,000 visitors, offering a unique opportunity to reach the rapidly growing communities of GTA and Ontario.

Event Objectives

  • Showcase diverse cultures and promote cultural exchange among existing communities.
  • Facilitate economic cooperation providing opportunities through cultural interaction of different communities.
  • Promote the goodwill of corporate sponsors within ethnic communities.
  • Reflect the contributing spirit of GTA ethnic communities in Canada’s diverse cultural mosaic.
